Liverpool enjoyed a frustrating afternoon as they were held to a goalless draw at home to Fulham.

The best chance of an even first-half fell to Robbie Keane, but he was denied from eight yards as he shot straight at Mark Schwarzer.
Fulham always posed a threat and Andrew Johnson and Jimmy Bullard both tested Pepe Reina at the other end.
Liverpool dominated the second-half but failed to find a way past Fulham’s resilient back-line.
The result extends both team’s unbeaten runs to four games, but if Liverpool harbour serious ambitions of challenging for the Premier League title this season then they will need to perform better than they did against the Cottagers.
They will no doubt face tougher challenges than the one posed by Fulham, but they were made to work hard for just a point as the visitors turned in a disciplined and confident performance.
Before Saturday’s encounter the visitors had collected just one point on their travels but, for the first half at least, they look capable of adding three more to that tally.
