Everton 1-1 Arsenal Highlights
Robin van Persie’s stunning injury-time strike gave Arsenal a point they barely deserved at Everton.
Van Persie’s brilliant left-foot volley rescued Arsenal – but not before another resilient Everton performance dented their faltering title hopes.
Tim Cahill headed Everton in front with his 100th career goal from Leighton Baines’ cross after 61 minutes.
And he almost doubled Everton’s advantage before going off injured, but Van Persie had the final word.
THIS SEASON’S REVERSE FIXTURE
18 October 2008 – Ref: Peter Walton
Arsenal scorers: Nasri 48, Van Persie 70, Walcott 90

“dented their faltering title hopes”… are you kidding? They have been out of the title race since week 10. Everton outplayed them in Defence, Midfield and Attack… And Everton don’t even have any attackers!!
Arsenal got lucky… no other word. They were outplayed by a much better team. Pity, Everton has spirit… Arsenal has nothing but sh*t.
