Frank Lampard’s injury time header take Chelsea into the second place of the EPL table and keep alive their lingering title chances.
When Frank Lampard’s cross is half-cleared to John Terry, he scored with a spectacular mid-air volley which put the Londoners ahead despite Wigan dominating the early exchanges.
First Half Highlights
Oliver Kapo scored from Maynor Figueroa’s teasing cross with eight minutes to go seemed to have earned the visitors a point.
But with full-time almost up Frank Lampard looped a header past Chris Kirkland.
