Liverpool lost to Middlesbrough which gives a big blow to their title hopes and slipped into third place behind chelsea.

Tuncay scored from Jeremie Aliadiere’s low cross and doubled the lead

Liverpool, who have not won at The Riverside since a 2-1 victory in March 2002, made four changes to the side that won 1-0 at Real Madrid in the Champions League.
