So much for the coach’s assertion that “We won’t suffer without CR9“!
Benzema was awful, Kaka was anonymous, and had it not been for Man of the Match Casillas, Real’s humiliation would have been even greater!
If Real have ambitions on the ECL they’re going to have to get their “Galacticos” to play as a team, not as individual expensive superstars.
I have yet to see any evidence that Real Madrid can usurp the positions of Barca and the English “Big Four” as the dominant forces in Europe over the past couple of years.
