The Rossoneri pulled off something of a shock in the last leg (despite Dida’s howler) but it would be less of a shock were they to beat Real tonight.
Dida has, in fact, been in excellent form, as has Nesta – although I do not know if he will be back from injury for tonight.
Real have been in woeful form during CR9’s absence, and Milan kept a clean sheet at the weekend and look to be improving.
A bad loss for Real could mean the end for Pellegrini comes sooner rather than later; but his misfortune could provide the perfect escape from Liverpool for Rafa Banitez.
Of course, the combination of the innately cautious Rafa and the flamboyant Galacticos is a recipe for disaster, but his record at Valencia, and with Liverpool in Europe will convince Real otherwise…
