Second-half goals from Eden Hazard and Fernando Torres were enough to hand Chelsea victory at Hull and move them to the top of the Premier League.

With Manchester City playing on Sunday and Arsenal on Monday, the Blues took advantage against a resilient Hull.

Hazard opened the scoring 10 minutes after the break when he drifted along the 18-yard area before firing a low strike past Allan McGregor.

Torres added a late second when he struck in low from 18 yards.
