Liverpool shown a professional display, especially in second half to earn a crucial away goal and victory against Real Madrid in the champions league match.

Yossi Benayoun scored Reds winner when he headed in a Fabio Aurelio free-kick from eight yards.

Arjen Robben missed lots of chances and Real was dominating the first half, Liverpool sit on the driving seat in the second half.

Liverpool had barely given Real a sight of their goal and comfortably closed out the first leg last-16 tie.
