Arsenal have won the last four Premier League meetings between the two sides, including last November at Carrow Road when Robin van Persie’s brace saw the Gunners come from behind to win 2-1.

Norwich’s only Premier League win over Arsenal came in their first meeting – a 4-2 victory at Highbury back in 1992, after being 2-0 down at half-time. They have not won any of the eight subsequent league meetings.

Having won nine out of 10 Premier League matches from 4 February, Arsenal have not won any of their last three (L1, D2).

Robin van Persie has scored 28 Premier League goals this season. He is two short of Thierry Henry’s club record of 30 in a season in 2003-04.

It will be Arsene Wenger’s 900th match as Arsenal manager.

Thomas Vermaelen has scored six Premier League goals this season, the highest tally for a defender.

Norwich have lost their last three Premier League matches, their worst run of defeats since their return to the top flight.

The Canaries have conceded nine goals since they last scored. They haven’t scored in their last two matches – they haven’t gone three without a goal so far this season.

Norwich have kept just two clean sheets in this season’s league, fewer than any other side in the top flight.

Grant Holt has scored 13 Premier League goals this season, the most for an uncapped Englishman.
