Queens Park Rangers have only lost one of their last six league games against Reading, winning three of the last four.

The Royals have only won once at Loftus Road in the last 15 years – a 2-1 victory in November 2005.
This will be the first top-flight encounter between the sides.

Rangers have had nine players sent off in 2012, equalling the Premier League record for dismissals in a calendar year.

QPR have failed to win any of their opening nine Premier League matches. It’s the club’s worst start to a top-flight season since they failed to win in their first 13 matches of the 1968-69 campaign. They finished that season last and were relegated.

Mark Hughes’ side have lost five of the six league games in which they conceded first this season (L5, D1).

Reading

The Royals are still looking for their first league win of the season. This is their poorest start to a top-flight campaign, and their worst at any level since 1959 in the old Division Three.

They are one of two teams yet to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League this season – the other is Southampton.

They have won two of their last 24 away games in the top flight.
