Wigan won the reverse fixture 3-2 earlier this season, when Jordi Gomez scored a hat-trick.

Brian McDermott’s side have scored in each of their last seven league games – their best run of the season.

Reading have scored the division’s highest proportion of goals in the final 15 minutes of games (42%).

Mikele Leigertwood could make his 100th Reading appearance, and Jem Karacan his 150th.

The Latcis have won only one of their last 13 league matches.

Roberto Martinez’s side have let in 16 goals in the last six games.
