Head-to-head

Manchester City are unbeaten in the last five meetings and are currently on a four-match winning streak – a record for this fixture.

Edin Dzeko scored four goals in City’s 5-1 win when the sides last met at White Hart Lane, in August 2011.

Tottenham

Andre Villas-Boas’ side have only earned four points from their last four matches. They are a point worse off than at the same stage last season.

Spurs and Aston Villa are the only teams in the division to have failed to earn more points at home than away this season. Tottenham have taken 29 points home and away.

They have conceded in their last seven league matches – their equal-longest run without a clean sheet this season.

April is certainly the cruellest month for Tottenham, who have lost a Premier League-high 35 matches in that period.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto could make his 200th Tottenham appearance.

Manchester City

City are unbeaten in all 10 league matches against London clubs this season (W6, D4) – they are the only side yet to lose to a club from the capital.

Roberto Mancini’s side have the division’s best defensive record, conceding only 27 goals.

They have only dropped four points from winning positions this season, the joint-best record alongside Manchester United and Arsenal.

Vincent Kompany is expected to play his 150th league game for City, and David Silva’s next league appearance will be his 100th for the club.
