West Brom 2-3 Chelsea Highlights

John Terry was sent off as Pedro inspired Chelsea to a first Premier League win of the season at West Brom.

Thibaut Courtois saved James Morrison’s early penalty but Pedro, who signed from Barcelona for £21m this week, fired in before setting up Diego Costa.

Morrison then atoned for his earlier error with a crisp strike before Cesar Azpilicueta made it 3-1.

Terry saw red for a second-half foul on Salomon Rondon but Morrison’s header was not enough as Chelsea hung on.

West Brom

West Brom are one of two Premier League teams yet to score this season.

The Baggies have had a total of just two shots on target in their opening two games.

Seventeen of Saido Berahino’s 20 competitive goals for West Brom in 2014-15 came at The Hawthorns, including two in the 3-0 win over Chelsea in May.

Chelsea have only once lost back-to-back Premier League games under Jose Mourinho – in May 2006 when they had already won the title.

The Blues have only kept one clean sheet in their last seven league games.

Chelsea have allowed their opponents a league-high 18 shots on target so far this season.
Sunday’s game will be Mourinho’s 300th in charge of Chelsea.

Mourinho’s last six Premier League defeats have come against a manager who has a surname starting in P: Pulis, Poyet, Pardew, Pochettino, Pulis, Pellegrini.
