Ali Al-Habsi will make his 100th Premier League appearance for Wigan, while Emmerson Boyce is poised to reach his century of games for the club.

Liverpool’s only two wins in their last six league games have both been by a 5-0 scoreline.

They have 39 points – their lowest tally after 27 games since the 1992-93 season.

The Reds average more points per game against bottom-half opposition (2.41) than any side other than Manchester United, winning nine and losing only one of those 12 matches.

According to Infostrada, Luis Suarez has had a Premier League-high 48 shots on target this season and scored from 38% of those attempts.

Steven Gerrard will make his 400th Premier League start, while Glen Johnson is expected to make his 100th top-flight start for Liverpool.
