Stoke 1-1 Swansea Highlights

Relegation rivals Stoke and Swansea played out a draw at a windy Britannia Stadium.

The game was in doubt at one stage because of the weather and kick-off was delayed by 15 minutes.

Stoke led at the break when Peter Crouch fired home after Peter Odemwingie had hit the base of a post.

But the Swans saved a point in the second half as Chico Flores headed home Pablo Hernandez’s cross.

Head-to-head

The home side are unbeaten in the last five league meetings between the clubs since Swansea won 2-1 at Stoke in the third tier in March 2001.

Stoke City have lost just one of their last nine league matches at home (W4, D4, L1).

However, they have not won successive Premier League matches since August and have gone nine games without a clean sheet.

Peter Crouch now has 85 Premier League goals, one more than each of Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez and Fernando Torres. He has has scored three goals in his two previous league appearances against Swansea at the Britannia Stadium.

Swansea City

Swansea are winless in their last six away matches, scoring just two goals from 47 shots in those games.

They haven’t won successive league games since November-December 2012.

The Swans have averaged 59.6% possession in their Premier League matches this season, the most of any team.

Wilfried Bony’s eight league goals have all come at home.
