Erik Lamela has provided three assists in his six league games this season after managing just one in nine Premier League games last season.

Their total of 13 points from six games is their best since claiming 14 in 1983-84, a season in which they finished second.

They have conceded just four goals so far this season, the lowest tally in the top flight.

Graziano Pelle has scored four Premier League goals for Southampton and has five goals in all competitions. Since August 2012, he has scored 54 goals in 63 league appearances.
