Head-to-head

Hull City have won on their last two visits to West Brom, including 3-0 in their only previous top-flight meeting at The Hawthorns in October 2008.

West Bromwich Albion

West Brom can become the first Premier League club this season to win the fixture immediately following the departure of their manager. Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Fulham all lost.

The Baggies are on a run of four consecutive defeats and have failed to win in their last six.

They have conceded the first goal on nine occasions this term, but are yet to lose when they have opened the scoring.

On-loan winger Scott Sinclair scored twice against Hull City – one in the league and one in the cup – during a season-long stint with Wigan in the 2009-10 season.

West Brom goalkeeper Boaz Myhill played for Hull in their last win against the Baggies, in October 2008 – a victory that put the Tigers joint level at the top of the Premier League.

Hull City

Only Crystal Palace (seven) have lost more games than Hull and Norwich (six) away from home this season.

They have only won one of their last 32 Premier League away matches – a 3-2 victory at Newcastle in September.

Hull have taken two points from their last three matches.

Curtis Davies made 65 league appearances for West Brom between 2005-2008.
