Barcelona 4-0 Valencia Highlights

Barcelona went six points clear at the top of La Liga after brushing aside the challenge of title hopefuls Valencia.

A hat-trick from Thierry Henry and a third from Daniel Alves wrapped things up for Barca at the Camp Nou as they pulled further away from second placed Villarreal, who fought back from 3-0 at half time to draw 3-3 with Getafe.

It was former Arsenal striker Henry who put Barcelona on their way to victory with two goals inside eight first half minutes.

Henry collected Yaya Toure’s long ball before clipping a shot over Valencia ‘keeper Renan after 20 minutes.

He grabbed his second after a superb inside ball from Alexander Hleb – curling a precise shot into the far corner of the net.

Dani Alves notched the third with a fierce shot from an angle inside the penalty area on 55 minutes.

And Henry completed his hat-trick when substitute Bojan Krkic ghosted into the area and cut the ball back for the striker to tap home from close range.
