This is the 174th north London derby. Arsenal have won 74 times, Tottenham 54 and there have been 45 draws.

Arsenal last failed to score at home to Spurs in the Premier League in November 1998. Since then the Gunners have scored 38 times in 15 games.

If there are four goals in this game then it will become the outright highest scoring fixture in Premier League history (currently 126 goals).

Arsenal have won four of their 10 matches in all competitions so far this season.
They have kept just one clean sheet in their five league games so far.

They took 25 points from their 10 London derbies in the Premier League last season (W8, D1, L1) and defeated Crystal Palace on the opening weekend this season.

The Gunners made more passes against Aston Villa last Saturday (814) than in any Premier League game since April 2012 (828 v Wolves).

This is Arsene Wenger’s 44th match in charge of Arsenal against Spurs. His record stands at 21 wins, 16 draws and six losses.

Spurs have their worst points total (seven) after five league matches since 2008-09 (two), when they were managed by Juande Ramos.

Six of Tottenham’s seven league points this season have come in London derbies.
Tottenham had one shot on target against West Brom last Sunday and have now lost every one of their last 10 league matches in which they failed to score.

They have conceded six penalties in the league in 2014; only Manchester United have conceded as many.
