Norwich 1-3 Chelsea Highlights

Late goals from Eden Hazard and Willian gave Chelsea their first Premier League away win of the season at Norwich.

Oscar put the hosts ahead with a first-time shot from inside the area, but Anthony Pilkington equalised with a header midway through the second half.

Norwich pressed in the final few minutes but they were punished when substitute Hazard stabbed in after a swift counter attack.

Willian curled in a delightful third a minute later to wrap up victory.

Head-to-head

Norwich have not beaten Chelsea in their past nine meetings in all competitions.

The last Canaries win in this fixture was a 3-0 Premier League victory in December 1994.

Chelsea won 1-0 at Carrow Road on Boxing Day last season, thanks to a fine winner from Juan Mata.

Norwich

Norwich have only lost two of their 12 Premier League home matches in 2013, both against Aston Villa.
They have scored the joint-fewest goals (four) in the division this season.

Jonny Howson’s winner at Stoke last weekend ended a Premier League goal drought of 235 minutes for the Canaries.

Howson scored his first Premier League goal of the season in his sixth match – last season it took him until his 29th appearance.

Anthony Pilkington notched up his first assist away from Carrow Road since October 2011 (v Liverpool).

Chelsea

None of Chelsea’s strikers have scored a Premier League goal yet this season. In fact, of Chelsea’s last 26 league goals, only one has been scored by a recognised striker (Fernando Torres v Everton in May).

Chelsea have exactly the same league record as they had at this stage in 2007-08, when Jose Mourinho left Chelsea after six games (W3, D2, L1).

John Terry’s goal at Tottenham last weekend ended a run of 247 minutes without a Premier League away goal for Chelsea. It was Terry’s 33rd Premier League goal. David Unsworth, with 38 (22 of which were penalties), is the only defender to have scored more.
