Carl Jenkinson joins Arsenal

Arsenal have announced the signing of 19-year-old defender Carl Jenkinson from Charlton.

Jenkinson, whose transfer fee has not been disclosed by either club, is the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger’s first summer signing following their sixth successive season without a trophy.
