June 2nd, 2008
Score: Trinidad & Tobago 0-3 England
Gareth Barry and Jermain Defoe get the goals as England are comfortable winners in their friendly at Trinidad & Tobago.
Gareth Barry put them ahead when he finished off a move involving Stewart Downing and Wayne Bridge to volley home his first goal for England.
Four minutes later Downing laid on the second for Jermain Defoe to tuck past T&T keeper Clayton Ince.
Defoe got his second when a David Bentley cross fell kindly for him to volley past but he fired his hat-trick chance wide of the mark.
