Bayern Munich finished top of the group after a 3-2 win at Lyon, who have to be content with the runners-up spot.

Germany forward Miroslav Klose put Bayern ahead before Luca Toni set up Franck Ribery for the second goal, and Ribery turned provider for Klose as Lyon fell apart.

Sidney Govou pulled a goal back for the French side and Karim Benzema added a second, but Bayern hung on.
