The line-up should be interesting; SAF’s teams are notoriously hard to predict, but having already established a good position in the ECL table but with a big EPL match away to Chel$ki at the weekend, I expect to see some major players rested, and a chance for some of the squad players to shine – for shine they should against a demoralised CSKA side who have lost their manager and their way.
SAF says Fletcher will play, and I would expect Owen to start. Neville is banned from league matches, so I think he will play -he will add experience to the side, and his link-up play with Valencia looks good. It would be nice to see Obertan play a part.
If United can get all three points then qualification is wrapped up, he can use the ramaining games to give fringe squad members a run-out and can concentrate on getting down to the challenge of winning a unique 4th consecutive EPL title.

@Fake Lucifer: If you were to put as much effort into educating yourself as you do trolling around the epl site to append your juvenile inanities to all of my comments, you might just possibly achieve some degree of literacy…. Just possibly…

The change of manager for CSKA seeme to have worked wonders; the team that played positive football last night were not the easy pickings that their lethargic performance in Moscow suggested.
Poor defending can’t detract from some excellent finishing by the Russians and a sparkling display from Krasic as they took a 3-1 lead – but with Evra, Rooney & Obertan thrown on for the finale, United’s attacks gathered pace and earned them another last minute goal which confirms their qualification from the group.
Akinfeev enhanced his reputation no end, and could well be on SAF’s shopping list in January.
Owen scored his first European goal in five years.
It was actually a welcome change to see United having to fight back to get a result in this manner; the last 20 minutes were as exciting as it has been at a Utd match since the derby.

you may talk like a 3 yr old but he you are right…its not tactics and actually its not valencias goal it was clearly going out and hit a defender therefore its an own goal.. a lucky own goal.. again once again utd get lucky..whether it be in the group choice in cpl or having 6 min extra time or a lucky own goal.. it sickens me to see them in the top 4 for the epl wen they dont deserve it

Lucky? Was it lucky to be not only denied a clear penalty but to have the fouled player booked?
Man Utd were turning the screw; Akinfeev made some fine saves, the CSKA defence were dropping deep and defending, so when there is a lot of pressure and a lot of people in the box it’s not a miracle when a deflection goes in.
One has to put in the work to be in a position to benefit from any lucky breaks. Their play certainly merited an equaliser.
…and having a head full of hate is no basis to be making rational judgements.
Manchester United have worked hard for all their success, and to argue otherwise is simply an admission that one has no reasoned arguments to show otherwise.
p.s. when you respond with you inevitable surly abuse, could you at least try to make it either witty or original?

5 lost in 11 matches (epl)
November 4th, 2009 at 9:05 pm
and lost again to lyon
score will be lyon 2-0 liverpool
November 4th, 2009 at 9:13 pm
AKa_BaDboY is right
big team all way score in 80 min or 90
like stoke vs chelsea
stoke winning 1-0
and chelsea score in 88min to make it 1-1
and score again in 83 to make chelsea win 2-1
so that just not fair stoke deserve something ar least 1-1 draw to get 1 point
OR like man utd at home vs sunderland
sunderland are play well better and derserve a away win and 3 point
bent score first to make 1-0 and berbatov score to make 1-1
and jones score to make 2-1
and make utd have no chance to score back but man utd lucky get own goal from ferdinand to make 2-2
that why big team never lost alway lucky!!!!!
all f*ck you all haterrrrr

Hoi adolf lust-fer, go its not bad in supporting man u. but its terrible when you try to make your team better by creating biased comments.
If you have got nothing to do, then go play in a nearby highway.
Thanks.
