Arsenal moved level on points with second-placed Manchester City and heightened Hull’s relegation worries with a superb display at KC Stadium.
The Gunners were sensational in the first half and Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring with a deflected free-kick.
Aaron Ramsey netted the second with another deflected strike before setting up Sanchez to beat keeper Steve Harper.
Stephen Quinn’s header gave Hull hope, but the defeat sees them slip to fourth-bottom on goal difference.

Head-to-head
Hull famously beat Arsenal 2-1 in the first-ever top-flight match between the sides back in 2008. They then lost the next five league meetings before drawing at the Emirates in October.
Arsenal beat Hull in the FA Cup final last year and also in this season’s third round.
Hull have managed just three wins in 21 meetings with the Gunners in all competitions.
Hull City
Hull have won consecutive league matches for only the second time this season. They have only ever won three or more games in succession in the top flight once before – four matches in September-October in the 2008-09 season.
They have kept successive clean sheets in the Premier League for the first time since October 2013.
Michael Dawson’s goal against Liverpool was only the second scored for Hull by an English player in the league this season, a league low (Chelsea next with five). The other was by Jake Livermore against Tottenham.
Since their return to the top flight in August 2013, winger Ahmed Elmohamady has put in 429 crosses from open play – 89 more than any other player.
Arsenal
Arsene Wenger’s side have more points after 33 games this season than any season since 2009-10. This is despite having fewer points after 12 games than they have had in any other Premier League campaign.
Their draw with Chelsea was their first since 21st December when they were held 2-2 by Liverpool – a run of 15 games.
It was only the third time in 2015 that they had dropped points in the Premier League (P14 W11 D1 L2).
They have conceded just nine goals in those 14 matches.
Arsenal have won their last four Premier League away games all by a one-goal margin.
They have only failed to score in three league matches this season – twice v Chelsea and once against Southampton.
