Head-to-head

QPR are without a win against Sunderland in 11 league games since a 1-0 away triumph at Roker Park in April 1991.

Loftus Road has been a happy hunting ground for the Black Cats in recent years, with four wins in their last five visits.

Rangers have not beaten Sunderland at home since Mark Falco hit the winner in a 3-2 win in December 1990.

QPR

QPR have picked up 16 points from 15 games since Harry Redknapp took charge.

They will equal an unwanted Premier League record if they fail to score at home for the sixth successive game. The record is held by Portsmouth, then managed by Redknapp, who went six games without a home goal between October and November 2007.

Rangers have scored only six goals in their last 10 Premier League games.

Loic Remy’s two goals in English football to date have been scored in the 14th minute.

Sunderland

Martin O’Neill’s side are in the bottom three of the form table based on the last six games, with five points from the last 18 available.

They are unbeaten in all three Premier League matches in London this season. They were last beaten in the capital in May 2012, a 2-1 defeat at Fulham.

Two Stephane Sessegnon goals and two Craig Gardner penalties are the only goals Sunderland have scored in the last 498 minutes of Premier League football.

Sessegnon has scored in each of his last two Premier League games. He has never scored in three successive matches.
