Middlesbrough 0-1 Bolton Highlights

Gavin McCann’s 60th minute goal secured a vital three points in Bolton’s battle to beat Premier League relegation.

McCann volleyed the ball home from six yards after Middlesbrough keeper Ross Turnball had superbly kept out Gary Cahill’s close-range header. Minutes earlier Bolton striker Grzegorz Rasiak had hit the bar with Matt Taylor also volleying against the post. Boro had started brightly and forced several fine saves from the impressive Ali Al Habsi in the Bolton goal.
