Everton have won just two of their last 18 league games at home to Manchester United.

The Toffees are looking to complete the double over United for the first time since the 1969-70 season.

Everton haven’t lost consecutive home matches in the league since October 2011, when they followed a 2-0 defeat against Liverpool with a 1-0 loss to Manchester United.

The Toffees have lost only three of their last 40 home matches in the league (W28, D9, L3).

They have won 19 league matches so far this season, equalling their highest number of victories in an entire Premier League campaign, set in 2007-08.

Romelu Lukaku scored a hat-trick in his only previous home league game against Manchester United – a 5-5 draw for West Bromwich Albion on the final day of last season.

Manchester United

Manchester United have the best away record in the Premier League, taking 33 points from their 17 matches (W10, D3 L4).

David Moyes’ side are unbeaten in their last five away matches in the league (W4, D1).

They have only won one of their 11 games this season against the league’s current top six.

Wayne Rooney has scored six goals in his last six league appearances.

Only Luis Suarez (12) has scored more Premier League away goals than Rooney (10) this season.
