Manchester City have lost just one of their last 12 league and cup games against West Ham and none of the last four.
City have lost only once in their last six matches at Upton Park in all competitions.
Victory against Manchester City would equal their best-ever Premier League points tally after 10 games. They earned 17 points by the same stage in 1999-00 and went on to finish ninth.
