Gus Poyet – New Sunderland Boss

Sunderland have named Uruguayan Gus Poyet as their new head coach.

The Black Cats, who lie bottom of the Premier League table with 1 point.

In September Sunderland sacked Paolo Di Canio after just 13 games in charge.

Sunderland chairman Ellis Short said: “We analysed a wide range of candidates and believe that Gus’s track record, experience, commitment and passion make him the right man to take us forward.”
