Kick off: 15:00 BST

TEAM NEWS

Newcastle trio Tim Krul, Daryl Janmaat and Paul Dummett have all recovered from the injuries.

Striker Emmanuel Riviere has been ruled out for the Magpies, while Sammy Ameobi is an injury doubt.

Leicester have no fresh injury worries following the international break.

Head-to-head

Newcastle Vs LeicesterNewcastle United are unbeaten in their last eight league meetings with Leicester City (W4, D4).

The Magpies have won the last four meetings between these sides at St James’ Park.

Leicester’s last victory away to Newcastle was by 2-0 in April 2000.

Newcastle

Newcastle are without a league victory in eight matches.

Alan Pardew’s side have conceded two or more goals in nine of their last 12 league games at St James’ Park.

The Magpies are the only side yet to score first in a Premier League game this season.

Out of the 17 ever-present Premier League sides in 2014, Newcastle have earned the fewest points (20), scored the fewest goals (21) and conceded the most (49).

Papiss Cisse has not scored in consecutive league appearances since netting in six games in a row between March-April 2012.

Leicester

Leicester have lost just one of their previous five league matches (W2, D2, L1).

They have only found the net once in their three league matches away from home this season.

They are the second-most efficient scoring team in the Premier League, with 11 of their 62 shots resulting in a goal (18%). Chelsea lead the way with 20 goals from 101 shots (20%).

Leonardo Ulloa has scored five goals in seven league matches – only Chelsea striker Diego Costa has more, with nine.

Leicester 2-2 Burnley Highlights

Substitute Ross Wallace scored a stoppage time equaliser to earn Burnley a point at Leicester.

Ghana international Jeffrey Schlupp put the Foxes ahead with a right-foot finish after Mahrez’s low cross.

Burnley ended a run of five league games without a goal when Michael Kightly equalised after Scott Arfield’s cross.

Riyad Mahrez restored Leicester’s lead before Wallace equalised with a dramatic 20-yard free-kick.

Venue: King Power Stadium
Date: Saturday, 4 October, 2014
Kick off: 15:00 GMT

Head-to-head

Leicester are unbeaten in the last seven meetings (W5, D2).

However, Burnley have lost only two of their last 11 league visits to Leicester (W4, D5).

There have been 149 goals in the previous 42 top-flight meetings, an average of 3.5 goals per game.

Leicester

The Foxes have lost only once in their last 18 home matches (W12, D5). That defeat came at the hands of Brighton when Leonardo Ulloa scored twice for the visitors prior to becoming Leicester’s record signing.

Ulloa has opened the scoring for Leicester in all four Premier League games in which they have registered a goal this campaign. In total, he has five goals in six games.

Nigel Pearson’s side have kept only one clean sheet since returning to the top flight, and have conceded two goals or more in four of their six games.

Leicester are yet to be in front at half time this season.

David Nugent has scored for Leicester in their last four meetings against Burnley. He played for Burnley on loan throughout their last Premier League season in 2009-10, scoring six goals.

Burnley

Burnley have not scored for 10 hours and 16 minutes in all competitions since Scott Arfield’s goal against Chelsea in their season-opener. They are 36 minutes away from setting a new goalless club record, which currently stands at 10 hours and 51 minutes.

The Clarets are one of three clubs yet to win a Premier League game this season (D3, L3), along with Sunderland and Newcastle.

Sean Dyche’s side have kept three clean sheets, one of five teams to have done so.
Twelve of the 18 players used by Burnley in this season’s Premier League are English, more than any other side. Leicester have used 11.

Lukas Jutkiewicz has attempted the most shots (excluding blocks) without scoring in the Premier League so far this season (14).

Ben Mee and Michael Keane both had successful loan spells at Leicester, from Manchester City and Manchester United respectively.

Hull 2-0 Crystal Palace Highlights

Hull picked up three points for the first time since the opening day of the season with a hard-fought win over Crystal Palace.

Watch English Premier League match, Hull Vs Crystal Palace highlights here.

Venue: KC Stadium
Date: Saturday, 4 October, 2014
Kick off: 15:00 GMT

Head-to-head

Crystal Palace won the corresponding fixture 1-0 last season as part of a league double over Hull.

Hull have not scored in their last three home games against Palace. Their goalless drought against the Eagles at the KC Stadium currently stands at 329 minutes since a 1-1 draw in April 2011.

Palace are unbeaten in their last eight matches against Hull (W4, D4) since a 2-1 Championship away defeat in 2008.

Hull

The Tigers have won just once in 11 Premier League matches since their FA Cup semi-final win over Sheffield United in April (D4, L6).

The 1-0 win over QPR on the opening day of this season is their only clean sheet so far. They have conceded 11 goals in their subsequent five games.

Club record signing Abel Hernandez has scored two goals in three games for the Tigers.

Steve Bruce managed Crystal Palace for the first 14 games of the 2001-02 season, winning 10 of them, before leaving to take charge of Birmingham City.

Crystal Palace

The Eagles remain unbeaten under Neil Warnock: back-to-back victories have followed successive draws in his opening two matches back in charge.

Palace have lost just once in their last seven away league matches (W4, L2).

However, they are without a clean sheet in their last four games on the road dating back to last season, conceding nine goals in the process.

Only Chelsea (10) and Manchester City (eight) have scored more away goals than the seven by Palace.

Seven of the Eagles’ 10 goals have been scored in the second half.

Captain Mile Jedinak has made more tackles (33) and interceptions (23) than any other Premier League player this season. He finished top of both lists in 2013-14.

Swansea 0-1 Southampton Highlights

Wanyama came off the bench to score his first Southampton goal and continue their impressive start to the season with a win over 10-man Swansea.

The midfielder produced the game’s one real moment of class with a neat 12-yard finish with 10 minutes remaining.

The Saints had dominated the second half thanks largely to the sending off of Swansea’s Wilfried Bony for two clumsy fouls just before the break.

Swansea had started stronger but were unable to hold out with 10 men.

Swansea have not scored in their last three meetings with Southampton.

Swansea City

Swansea’s 100% winning record came to an end with last weekend’s 4-2 defeat by Chelsea.

The Swans have kept two clean sheets in their opening four matches, having managed just one in their last 13 games of last season.

Both those clean sheets have come at home, meaning that Rickie Lambert’s winner for Southampton in May was the last league goal the Swans have conceded at the Liberty Stadium.

Southampton

Saints have only lost one of their last eight league games (W4, D3).

Graziano Pelle has scored three goals from six shots on target in his last two Premier League appearances, while Morgan Schneiderlin has already scored more goals this season (three) than he did in 2013-14 (two).

Southampton have failed to score in only one of their previous 15 Premier League away matches – in the 0-0 draw against Aston Villa in April.

Liverpool Vs Southampton

Liverpool 2-1 Southampton Highlights

Daniel Sturridge’s late goal ensured Liverpool opened their Premier League campaign with a hard-earned win over Southampton at Anfield.

Raheem Sterling had given the Reds, runners-up last term, the lead at Anfield with a composed finish after Jordan Henderson’s threaded pass.

But Nathaniel Clyne equalised with a stunning finish following a neat one-two with debutant Dusan Tadic.

Sturridge struck from close range after Sterling headed the ball into his path.

Highlights

Highlights

1-0

Head-to-head

Southampton’s 1-0 win at Liverpool last season means they have won two of their last four games at Anfield (W2, L2).

They have never before won back-to-back league games away to the Reds.

Liverpool

Last year’s 1-0 win against Stoke was the first time in five seasons that Liverpool have won their opening league match (D2, L2).

The Reds scored more Premier League goals from counter-attacks (nine) than any other side last season.

The goals scored by Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge earned his side 20 points in 2013-14 – more than any other player in the top flight.

The Reds made fewer substitutions (89) than any other Premier League team in 2013-14.

Southampton

Saints’ 1-0 victory against West Brom 12 months ago was the first time they had begun a Premier League season with a victory since 1999.

Summer signing Dusan Tadic created 133 goalscoring chances for FC Twente last season – that is 46 more than any other player in the Dutch top flight.

They kept 15 clean sheets in last season’s Premier League – only Chelsea (18), Arsenal (17) and Manchester City (16) managed more.
